At last night's Parish Council Meeting members from the Amber Valley Borough Councilors were in attendance. They advised that any members of the public could request to speak at the Planning Board Meeting next Monday.

Cllr Trevor Ainsworth has requested that anyone wishing to speak in objection to the Methodist Church Planning Application to contact him directly so that concerns can be coordinated.

This organisation will allow those speaking to best utilise the allowed time and ensure that the full array of concerns are heard by the planning board, without repetition.

Please contact Trevor via email - Trevor.ainsworth@derbyshire.gov.uk

To request to speak an email should be sent to planningboardspeakers@ambervalley.gov.uk by 12 noon Wednesday 5th September.

Both, Trevor and the Chair of the Kilburn Parish Council are planning to speak against the development.

When Chapel Street was surveyed to understand the impact that the development would have on the local roads, it was unusually quiet.

Cllr Ainsworth has asked if local residents are able to gather photos to show the true extent of how busy Chapel Street often is. Please could these photos be emailed to him so that an accurate picture can be shared with the planning board prior to Mondays meeting.

Regards,

Kilburn Parish Council.
