On Saturday 26th June 2021 14 Residents and Councillors took part in the annual Kilburn litter pick which started on the Church Street Recreation Ground at 11am.

In total, 10 bags of litter were collected in one hour which shows a great effort from all involved.

Thanks go to Borough Cllrs Ainsworth & Hillier for providing litter pickers and bin bags, Cllr Kevin McDonald for donating gloves and hi-vis jackets, Cllr’s Bailey, Beadell, Hall for facilitating the event and finally to all the amazing volunteers who kindly gave up their time to make the village tidier!

The parish council hope to arrange another litter pick in the autumn so please keep an eye on the next edition of Kilburn News for more information.
